evaluation of thallium rate in soil after dispersive liquid-liquid micro-extraction

چکیده
thallium is widely found in nature, but the only inorganic stones full of this element are crookesite and lorandit. it isalso found in pyrites of copper, lead and inorganic stones. the element and its compositions are toxic and harmful to theenvironment; therefore, its application requires caution and further research. it is important to develop sensitive andaccurate analytical methods to determine trace levels of thallium in environmental and real samples. in this research, dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic drop as a sample preparation methodwas used for separation and preconcentration of ultra-trace amounts of thallium in soil samples prior to graphite-furnaceatomic-absorption spectrometry. investigated effective parameters on extraction include ph, the amount of chelatingagent, type and volume of extraction solvent and extraction time. under optimum conditions, the calibration curve waslinear in the range of 0.2-10.0 ng ml−1 of thallium in the original solution, with limit of detection of 0.03 ng ml−1. therelative standard deviation (rsd) for ten replicated determinations of thallium ion at 5.0 ng ml−1 concentration level wascalculated as 3.3%. the proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of thallium in soil samples.

متن کاملPre-concentration and Determination of Low-traces of Copper Ions in Different Mediums Using Dispersive Liquid-liquid Micro-extraction (DLLME)
In the paper, in order to pre-concentrate and measure the low values of Cu ions, the new, simple, quick and very sensitive method of Dispersed Liquid-Liquid Micro Extraction (DLLME) coupledwith flame Atomic Absorption spectrometry (AA) has been utilized. The DLLME techniquecoupled with AA )AA-DLLME) was run inside one narrow tube which constitute aqueous samples. In this m...
متن کاملSpectrophotometric Determination of Formaldehyde in Seawater Samples after In-situ Derivatization and Dispersive Liquid-Liquid Microextraction
In this paper, a simple dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction for the extraction and pre-concentration of formaldehyde in seawater samples followed with spectrophotometric is proposed. Formaldehyde was derivatized in situ with acetyl acetone in the presence of ammonium acetate in a single step. Then it was collected into a mixture of ethanol (disperser solvent) and chloroform (extracting...
متن کاملDetermination of Amphetamine and Methamphetamine by Dispersive Liquid Phase Micro-extraction: A Novel Experimental Approach
Background: A syringe to syringe dispersive liquid phase micro-extraction-floating organic drop was applied and used for the simultaneous extraction and pre-concentration of trace amounts of amphetamine (AMP) and methamphetamine (MAMP) in urine samples. The extracted analytes were determined by high performance liquid chromatography along with diode array detection. Materials & Methods: In thi...
متن کاملDispersive liquid-liquid microextraction coupled with magnetic nanoparticles for extraction of zearalenone in wheat samples
A new, sensitive and fast dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) coupled with micro-solid phase extraction (μ-SPE) was developed for determination of zearalenone (ZEN) in wheat samples. The DLLME was performed using acetonitrile/water (80:20 v/v) as the disperser solvent and 1-octanol as the extracting solvent. The acetonitrile/water (80:20 v/v) solvent was also used to extract ZEN f...
